The Cantus Angelorum Cathedral Children’s Choir will host an Open House for young singers in grades 3-12 and their families from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia.

The choir, which sings at the 5:15 p.m. Mass on the second Saturday of each month, teaches children four-part harmony while helping them develop an appreciation for sacred music. Members also have opportunities for faith, fellowship, and performances alongside the Cathedral’s adult choirs and orchestra, including the annual Palm Sunday Mass with the Archbishop of Philadelphia.

For more information, email cantusangelorumccc@gmail.com or visit the Liturgical Music section on the Cathedral’s website.
