Beginning Sunday, Oct. 4, the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul will invite all parishioners and visitors to partake in a beautiful tradition of Vespers on the first Sunday of each month at 6:00 p.m. This evening prayer will precede the celebrated 6:30 p.m. Sunday Mass, offering an opportunity for reflection, community, and a deepening of our spiritual journey.
Vespers, also known as Evening Prayer, has been a cherished practice within the Catholic tradition, reminding participants of the day’s blessings and inviting them to praise God for His goodness. Led by the Cathedral’s clergy, these services will feature traditional hymns, psalms, and beautiful prayers that set the tone for the evening Mass.
