LOWER MAKEFIELD – St. John the Evangelist School in Lower Makefield presented an enrichment program titled “Global Safari” Nov. 11. The program took students on an interactive and captivating geographical journey across the oceans and seas visiting various countries throughout the globe.
The program showcased live animal ambassadors and cultural artifacts from around the world. Students discovered the working relationship between animals and humans, how animals have played an important role in all types of human cultures and how animals have inspired humans throughout time. The presenters talked about geography, natural history, survival, natural behaviors and conservation education during the presentation
