The Carmelite Monastery in Philadelphia’s Oak Lane section invites everyone to pray in the presence of the relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and of her parents, Blessed Louis and Zélie Martin on Sunday, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Maureen O’Riordan will speak on “The role of the child in the Martin family and in the spirituality of St. Thérèse” at 1 p.m.
Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m., with a special blessing for those in consecrated life. The Carmelite Bookstore will be open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
