The Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Philadelphia Archdiocese will hold its annual conference with a special healing service and vigil Mass for Divine Mercy Sunday on Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Pope John Paul II High School, 181 Rittenhouse Road in Royersford.
The cost for the day-long conference is $50.
Organizers encourage all men and women to come for a day filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and enjoy inspiring talks, healing words and a vision of the plan God has for his witnesses. Discover how the Spirit of the Living God enables you to have a deeper, closer relationship with Jesus to the glory of God the Father.
This year’s speakers include:
Dr. Mary Healy, an internationally known speaker who teaches Sacred Scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary and serves as chair of the doctrinal commission of the international Catholic charismatic group;
Father Ariel Hernandez, pastor of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Newfield, N.J., who will be the main celebrant and homilist for the Divine Mercy Sunday Mass;
Kathleen McCarthy, president of In His Sign (radio) Network, who will lead a healing and anointing service;
and Father Bob Hilz, T.O.R., who will provide a “Special Newcomer’s Introduction to Renewal and Prayer for Release of the Your Gifts and Charisms.”
Music will be provided by Martha’s House.
Also at the conference, a youth track will offer a “World Youth Day” experience close to home.
All 9th-12th graders are welcome, and will enjoy dynamic speakers, music, fun, food and sports. The $20 cost includes all sessions, breakfast and lunch.
