Join Catholic women from the greater Philadelphia area for a transformative day of fun, friendship, faith formation, and prayer at the Catholic Women’s Conference on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA.
This year’s theme, “Real Beauty in an Artificial Age,” addresses the unrealistic standards of beauty that have intensified in recent years due to airbrushed media, curated social media posts, and the pervasive influence of pornography. As women confront the impossible standards set by advanced AI technologies, the conference aims to provide a space for healing and redefinition of beauty grounded in the truth that all women are beloved creations of a good and loving God.
Featured speakers include Sister Anna Laura Karp, OP, Colleen Carroll Campbell, Samantha Kelley, Katie Weiss, Catherine Rose, and Naomi Levis, who will guide discussions and reflections that focus on recognizing authentic beauty. Presiders include Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez and Father Dennis Gill.
The event will offer tracks in both English and Spanish, and early registration is recommended, as a sellout is expected.
