St. Martin de Porres School in Philadelphia hosted its fifth annual gala April 10, bringing together hundreds of prominent Philadelphians to raise funds and support student advancement.
The evening was hosted by the Friends of St. Martin de Porres and featured a cocktail hour, formal dinner, auctions and performances from students, alumni and teachers.
Emceed by NBC-10 anchor Renee Chenault-Fattah, the gala also honored Jerry Sweeney, president and CEO of Brandywine Realty Trust, with the 2014 St. Martin de Porres Award. He is a long-time supporter of the school whose generous donations have afforded dozens of students the chance to receive a superior education.
Generous donations of Philadelphia-area business leaders have enabled the gala to be a success year after year.
