The Neumann Adult Spirituality Group at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Warminster, will present “God’s Abundance: Food in the Bible, Food in Our Life” on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parish Conference Center.

The topic will explore the symbolism and use of food in the Bible, with numerous references to food and spices in Scripture. The group will discuss the role that food plays in our lives and how our faith leads us to healthy eating in everyday life.

Mary Alice Shane will be the presenter for the talk. She is a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School and got her bachelor’s degree from Drexel University. She has been a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics since 1976 and has worked in the long-term care field her entire career.

The cost for the day is $20, and registration is requested. The fee covers speakers and materials, plus refreshments. Please bring a brown bag lunch.
