The 26th Annual National Night of Prayer for Life will be held in the Sacred Heart Chapel at SS. Simon and Jude Parish in West Chester on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Beginning at 8 p.m. with the Pro-Life Stations of the Cross, the evening will continue until 12 midnight and close with benediction. At midnight Catholic churches throughout the nation will be united in prayer in all time zones.

With the Year of Mercy beginning Dec. 8, Catholic churches across the United States will open their doors in adoration and to pray for an end to abortion. At SS. Simon and Jude special hours are designated for participants, although anyone can come at any time during the evening.

8 p.m. – Children and Families

9 p.m. – Senior Citizens

10 p.m. – Knights of Columbus

11 p.m. – Young Adults

Each hour consists of communal praying of the rosary, special prayers of adoration and mercy, quiet time for individual prayers.
