Mater Dei Catholic School in Lansdale welcomed all U.S. service veterans to a Veterans Day prayer service Nov. 11. It was followed by a wreath-laying ceremony in the St. Stanislaus Parish Cemetery near the school.
After the service the veterans and their families enjoyed a “Hoagies for Heroes” lunch.
Students of the regional Catholic school represent the parishes of St. Stanislaus, Lansdale; St. Maria Goretti, Hatfield; St. Rose of Lima, North Wales; St. Agnes, Sellersville; and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Hilltown.
