Event Description

Light the City is a Prayer Outreach evening intended to be by the by Young Adults in Archdiocese of Philadelphia, supported by the Capuchin Franciscans in Saint John the Evangelist Church (21 S 13th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107). The main event will begin with prayer at 7 PM. After prayer, from 8 pm until 11pm – a group of Young Adults will walk out to streets greeting people who are in the area, inviting them to come into the church to light a candle and to offer a prayer for peace. The volunteers will focus on 13th Street around Market, Chestnut and Walnut Streets.

We also would like for some folks to play music during the event as well. Please indicate if you are willing to play and I will coordinate time slots for groups to play.
