Event Description

DATING. Do we even know what it is? Is it different than a romantic relationship? Or a hookup? Is a date something only seen in period films? An antiquated practice? An archaic form of social torture?

Isn’t it complicated? Is dating a lost art? Is it even possible? Is it worthwhile? Most importantly, HOW DO WE DO IT?

Enter ‘[a] new documentary, “The Dating Project,”… to show you’re not alone… The film, a one-night Fathom Event follows five singles (20-somethings to 40-somethings) in their quest to find love.

Kerry Cronin, associate director of the Lonergan Institute and philosophy fellow at Boston College, is our guide.” -Darcel Rockett, the Chicago Tribune

Join the Young Adults of Nativity BVM for film screening and discussion with wine and cheese. There is NO COST but please consider bringing your own favorite fromage or finger food. Invite your friends of any faith (or of no faith.) Singles, engaged and married people are ALL INVITED to participate in this thought-provoking discussion.

Whatever your state in life, this film will offer tips to navigate relationships and other awkwardness in today’s society.
