To mark the feast of St. Francis on Oct. 4, St. William Parish will hold its annual blessing of the animals on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. in front of the church entrance at 6200 Rising Sun Avenue in Philadelphia.

All are welcome to bring their pets on leashes or in carriers as needed. You may also bring a photograph of your pet if it is more convenient.
