Villa Maria Academy’s Lower School squeezed past St. Maximilian Kolbe School, 1-0, Nov. 3 to win the Region 17 CYO soccer title for the second consecutive year.
Villa Maria advances to the archdiocesan CYO soccer tournament as the number-one seed. Their next game is Sunday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. at Msgr. Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School, Drexel Hill.
