Pro-life advocate John P. Stanton will be remembered at a Jan. 26 vigil and memorial Mass commemorating the fifth anniversary of his death.
Stanton founded the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia in 1971 and worked to build a culture of life through prayer and activism.
The tribute will begin with an 8 a.m. vigil in front of the Philadelphia Women’s Center, located at 777 Appletree Street in the city. Mass will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Church (915 Vine Street, Philadelphia) at 9:30 a.m., followed by a reception.
All are welcome to attend.
