During a Jan. 24 visit to the Casa del Carmen Preschool Academy in Philadelphia, Archbishop-elect Nelson J. Perez met some of the youngest members of his new flock, while connecting with old friends and former parishioners.

An outreach of archdiocesan Catholic Social Services, the Casa del Carmen site provides a wide range of family supports and resources to the city’s Latino community, which it has served for some six decades.
