Anthem Live starts at 7 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church featuring a eucharistic holy hour with worship music and opportunity for confession. Then it’s time for fun with the afterparty following at 9 p.m. at Howl at the Moon Philadelphia.

Organized by Anthem Philly, the main goal is to get young adults together.
Amy Grace Miller, coordinator of service and administration for Anthem Philly, explained, “What we’ve discovered is that in a world where you can get pretty much anything from your phone, the two main things young adults are missing is community and shared prayer. Anthem Live is an attempt to provide that for young adults here.”
As if worship and fun aren’t enough, Anthem Philly added service to the equation.
Anthem Philly is collecting diapers (size 0-6) at Anthem Live for the Capuchin friary in in the city’s Frankford section to support their ministry to local moms.
Tickets are required for the afterparty and they include entrance to Howl at the Moon, live music, appetizers and a free drink.
Don’t want to buy a ticket? No worries! If you bring a pack of diapers to Anthem Live at St. John’s, your ticket is free.
