Sister Roberta Hoolahan, S.S.J. (formerly Dorothy Hoolahan), age 94, died Feb. 20 at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Hoolahan, she attended St. Carthage Grade School and West Catholic High School in Philadelphia.
In September 1943 she entered the Sisters of St. Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1951.
Sister Roberta ministered in the Diocese of Allentown and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
The sister of Margaret Stalzer, Rita Hoolahan, Gertrude O’Connor and the late Joseph and William Hoolahan, she is also survived by members of her Congregation, the Sisters of St. Joseph.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 27 at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown.
