The feast day of St. Katharine Drexel on Tuesday, March 3 will be celebrated with two observances at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul and its Shrine of St. Katharine Drexel.
There will be a sung Mass in the basilica at 12:05 p.m. and in the evening at 7 p.m., an Evening of Song and Prayer will honor Philadelphia’s heiress turned saintly foundress of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament and a renowned advocate for social justice.
The cathedral basilica and shrine are located 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. Parking is available.
