Six men will be ordained transitional deacons for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on Saturday, May 8 at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul.

Archbishop Nelson J. Perez will be the main celebrant of the Mass to which all the faithful are invited to view via livestream video here and on St. Charles Borromeo Seminary’s Facebook page. (Also see the video livestream below.)

The archbishop will confer the sacrament of holy orders on the following men for the Philadelphia Archdiocese:

Andrew J. Auletta
Sang Woo Chi
Henry F. Graebe
Andrew F. Lane
Ryan Nguyen
Roneld Saint Louis

After their ordination they will receive assignments to a parish of the archdiocese where they will minister for one year as they complete academic work at the seminary prior to their anticipated ordination as priests in May 2022.

Archbishop Perez will also ordain three other men deacons, including:

Nobel Pathang of the Diocese of Mymensingh, Bangladesh;
Pramod Ranjuna Perera of the Archdiocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka;
Mihindukulasooriya Marlon Rashmika Vass of the Archdiocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
