St. Katherine of Siena Parish in Wayne will host a Sidewalk Servants training by the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia and the Sisters of Life June 30 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The session will enable participants to effectively pray, witness and offer crisis pregnancy alternatives — such as material, housing and community assistance — to women outside of abortion centers.

Sidewalk Servants volunteer one hour per month at the clinics.

The ministry conforms with the legal right to pray in a public right of way such as a sidewalk. Sidewalk Servants do not enter onto abortion clinics’s property, or confront clinic staff and clients.
