St. Augustine Parish in Philadelphia presents a Theology on Tap program titled “Welcome Home for Christmas” on Thursday, Dec. 16.
It is geared for those whom — after being away from the Catholic Church, or hurt by the church, or after a divorce, an abortion or the pandemic — have the unanswered question, “How do I return?”
St. Augustine’s invites all to join an evening to socialize, seek answers and learn ways to return to the church after being away or navigating through the pandemic. All will have an opportunity to ask questions.
The event will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Plough and the Stars, an Irish pub at 123 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia’s Old City section (entrance on 2nd Street). A cash bar is available and appetizers are provided.
