“Treasures of the Church: Exposition of Sacred Relics” will be held Friday evening, Feb. 18 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Visitation B.V.M Church, Trooper, Montgomery County.
The evening program, free of charge, will feature more than 150 relics of saints including those of St. Joseph, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Maria Goretti, St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Faustina Kowalska.
There will also be a fragment of Mary’s veil and some of the largest remaining pieces of the wood of the True Cross in the world.
A teaching on the relics will be presented by Father Carlos Martins of the Companions of the Cross. See www.treasuresofthechurch.com for more information.
