A Delaware County parish will host a nationally recognized pro-life speaker whose work continues the legacy of an iconic civil rights leader.
Dr. Alveda King, niece of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will speak on “Preserving Life and Healing from the Loss of Life” on Aug. 19 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, located at 2400 North Providence Road in Media.
Subtitled “You Don’t Have to Have an Abortion,” the talk is free and open to the public. A livestream of the presentation will also be available via the parish’s website, stmarymagdalen.net.
