Seminarian Dominic Mirenda tells of his vocation story to parishioners at St. Agnes, West Chester.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is celebrating the local observance of National Vocation Awareness Week (Sunday, November 6 – Saturday, November 12, 2022).

This national initiative of the Roman Catholic Church is intended to raise awareness about and promote vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated religious life.

During this weeklong celebration, the Vocation Office for the Diocesan Priesthood of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia has planned various events across the five-county region for families and communities to gather together and pray for and support vocations.

National Vocation Awareness Week is sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and began in 1976.
