Sister Donna Jo Loeper SSJ, age 70, died August 18, 2023.

Sister Donna was the daughter of the late Donald and Mildred (Misura) Loeper; sister of Alan (Linda), Duane (Judith), Joseph (Elizabeth), Thomas (Denise), John (Veronica), and Patricia Loeper. She is also survived by nieces, a nephew, grandnephews, a grandniece and the members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia.

Donna attended Most Blessed Sacrament Grade School in Bally, Pa and Central Catholic High School in Allentown, Pa.

In September 1980 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1988.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, 112 Fell Street, Savannah, Georgia.

A Funeral Mass will be held on September 15 at 10:30 a.m. Services are private but will be livestreamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister’s name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Avenue, Flourtown, PA 19031.
