Sister Mary E. Corbett SSJ, age 90, died October 21, 2023, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Charles and Helen Agnes (Gallagher) Corbett, she attended St. Benedict Grade School and Little Flower High School.

In September 1952 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1960.

Sister Mary ministered in the Dioceses of Allentown, Camden, Harrisburg, Newark and Philadelphia and did missionary work in El Salvador.

Sister of the late Eugene, Bernard, Robert, Charles, Elaine, Gertrude and Ethel, she is survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, dear friends and members of her congregation, The Sisters of Saint Joseph.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Villa. Services will also be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website, www.stjosephvilla.org.
