A six week music program, “At the Service of the Sacred Liturgy: An Intensive Liturgical Music Program” will be held starting Jan. 11, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia for all in liturgical music ministry.
Led by Father Jordan Kelly, O.P. and sponsored by the archdiocesan Office for Divine Worship, the program is designed to provide over six weeks a focused presentation on the many aspects of liturgical music in a parish program. It is for parish directors of liturgical music, choir directors, choir members, leaders of song and cantors. Liturgical musicians in non-parochial settings, priests, and deacons are also welcome to participate.
This first round of presentations is specifically for parishes in the City of Philadelphia.

- Jan. 18 — Liturgical Music and the Mystery of Christ
- Jan. 25 — Liturgical Music Planning and Progressive Solemnity
- Feb. 1 — Directing, Leading Song and the Role of the Cantor
- Feb. 8 — Resources and Practical Matters of All Kinds
- Feb. 15 — Deepening the Spirituality of the Pastoral Musician
