Archbishop Nelson Pérez will bless and dedicate Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary’s new campus in Lower Gwynedd Saturday, Oct. 12 at 3:00 p.m. — watch the livestream video below. Cardinal Christophe Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, will offer remarks and be present for the blessing along with Bishop Keith J. Chylinski, rector of the seminary.

The seminary began the 2024-2025 academic year, the institution’s 193rd year of priestly formation and the first year at the new campus in Lower Gwynedd, with an enrollment of 140 seminarians, 71 of whom study for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Among the 23 new seminarians beginning their journey at the seminary this fall are seven preparing to serve the Church of Philadelphia.

In addition, 14 partner dioceses and religious communities from across the country and around the world send their men to St. Charles Seminary for formation.

On Sunday, Oct. 13 the seminary will host an open house for the public with seminarians providing guided tours of the campus 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. The last tour group will leave the refectory promptly at 2:15 p.m.

For more information on the open house, visit here. St. Charles Borromeo Seminary is located at 1400 Evans Road in Ambler.
