Join Msgr. Brian Bransfield, pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Aston, for a talk on his book “Angels: Our Guardians in Spiritual Battle” at St. Peter Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Published by Our Sunday Visitor, the 187-page book explores angels as they are found in Scripture, the writings of the Church Fathers, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the lives of the saints, and the works of key theologians. The book also considers the role of the fallen angels, who attack humans through temptation and sin.
Msgr. Bransfield is a moral theologian, speaker, and author of six books. He served as general secretary of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops from 2016 to 2021. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in 1994.
