St. Hubert’s cheerleaders crowned national champions

Four cheerleading teams from St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls came away with top honors at the Universal Cheerleading Association competition held Feb. 8-9 in Orlando, Fla.

Roman Catholic students tackle nuclear security in club forum

The World Affairs Club at Roman Catholic High School joined other students from Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and around the world in the third annual International Student Summit at Temple University's Fox School of Business. The summit simulated an international conference on nuclear security.

Shanahan sends aid to the Philippines

Students and families of Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown recently donated $7,500 to victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. The money will be distributed to those in need through Catholic Relief Services.

Student gathers discarded marathoners’ clothes, donates to the needy

An army of student volunteers from Merion Mercy Academy, led by Madi Resnic and her father Michael, hustled behind thousands of runners at the Philadelphia Marathon last weekend and picked-up 20,000 discarded sweats, shirts, hats and gloves.
