Vox Renaissance Consort performed masterworks for voices and instruments by Monteverdi, Palestrina, Gabrieli, Purcell and Pachelbel Sept. 16 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia. The performance was the first in a series of six concerts planned through April 22, 2012.
The next concert scheduled for the series is Oct. 12, when London’s renowned Westminster Cathedral Choir will perform — one of its seven stops on its U.S. tour.
