A few spaces remain for Corpus Christi Parish’s fifth Leadership Conference Saturday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
The free annual conference trains lay people on leadership skills for parish organizations. This year’s theme is “Catholic Leadership in Your Life: A seminar for all walks of life!”
Joan Rosenhauer, an executive of Catholic Relief Services, will give the keynote address.
Workshops and speakers include: Cheryl Mrazik of Catholic Relief Services, speaking on “Love + Action = Service”; Father Stephen DeLacy, school minister of Pope John Paul II High School, on “Lead Me to Better Know My Faith, Lord”; Carmina Chapp, coordinator of the Office for Adult Formation of the Diocese of Allentown, on “Becoming a Lay Leader”; and Oblate Father Alexander Pocetto, senior Salesian scholar at DeSales University, on “The Heart of a Good Leader.”
