The Music at Monica’s series presents the Pyxis Piano Quartet performing a concert of works by Bach, Brahms and Mozart on Sunday, March 10 at 3 p.m. at St. Monica Church, Berwyn. A free-will offering will be accepted.
The quartet consists of Meredith Amado, violin; Amy Leonard, viola; Jie Jin, cello and Hiroko Yamazaki, piano.
The group will also perform sacred music at the 9:30 and 11 a.m. Masses for the Fourth Sunday of Lent, March 10, offering prelude music by Bach and Respighi in addition to various selections during the liturgy.
The Music at Monica’s series, sponsored by the Office of Worship and Music at St. Monica Parish, concludes its season of musical programs by welcoming Russian concert pianist Svetlana Smolina on Sunday, April 21 at 3 p.m. A free-will offering will be accepted.
