The seventh and eighth grade students of the Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) of St. Helena Parish in Blue Bell presented the “Christmas Tableau” under the direction of Religious Education Director Madeleine Fitzgerald.
The first grade angels lit the way for Mary and Joseph, under the guidance of their teachers Anna Schoppe and Colleen Mroz.
Wit and Susan Hammond, teachers of the seventh and eighth grade class, directed the play as Dick Lentz provided background music and a reading of “The Birth of Christ from the Gospel of Luke” with Juliet Mellon and Emily Aron, graduates of the PREP program.
Msgr. Joseph Nicolo, parish pastor, and Father Tadeusz Gorka, in residence at the parish, enjoyed watching the production.
Each costume was detailed to give a feeling of the time of Christ’s birth. The inspiring presentation was a solemn way to prepare for the coming of Christmas.
