Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls has established the Sister Mary Scullion Endowment, a $300,000 fund to provide four-year scholarships for students with financial need and strong academic potential.

Funded by alumni James and Marie Seward ’66, the endowment honors Sister Mary Scullion ’71, co-founder of Project HOME and a longtime advocate for people experiencing homelessness. The fund will generate annual support to help recipients complete all four years at the school.

The endowment was announced June 9 during the school’s Scholarship Awards Assembly, attended by the Sewards.

School officials said the initiative expands access to Little Flower’s college-preparatory education while reflecting Sister Mary’s legacy of service.

“We are deeply honored to establish this endowment in the name of Sister Mary Scullion,” said Kristie Dugan ’92, President of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls.

“This gift brings Sister’s legacy home to Little Flower and to the young women who will benefit from her example. It strengthens our mission to remove barriers and expand opportunities for students across Philadelphia.”
