The John Cardinal Krol Chair of Moral Theology at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary will host a four-part series on religious liberty starting Tuesday, March 17, with a talk by Archbishop Charles Chaput.

The series is titled “Continuing the Search for Religious Freedom: Fifty Years After Vatican II’s Dignitatis Humanae.

All presentations begin at 7 p.m. They are free and open to the public, with refreshments to follow. The schedule of talks, speakers and their topics follows:

March 17: “Continuing the Search for Religious Freedom: Present Trials, Future Challenges” — Archbishop Charles J. Chaput.

March 24: “Continuing the Search for Religious Freedom: The American Perspective” — William P. Mumma, president of the Becket Fund for Religious Freedom.

April 14: “Continuing the Search for Religious Freedom: The Global Perspective” — Robert P. George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence, Princeton University.

April 21: “Continuing the Search for Religious Freedom: The Contribution of Dignitatis Humanae” — Archbishop William E. Lori.
