Immaculata University will hold its Empty Bowls event on Thursday, March 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Great Hall of Immaculata University. Proceeds from the event benefit the West Chester Food Cupboard. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for students, and $20 for families of four.

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger. Guests are invited to a simple meal of bread and soup served from a handmade bowl that each participant keeps as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.

Immaculata students are helping to promote, plan, and implement the Empty Bowls event as well as volunteering on a Saturday at the West Chester Food Cupboard. For more information, contact Dr. Kisthardt at mkisthardt@immaculata.edu.
