Sister Mary of the Presentation Schnepp, I.H.M., died May 19 in Camilla Hall, Immaculata, in the 69th year of her religious life. She was 88 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, Sister Mary entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1946 from Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and professed her vows in 1949.
She taught for more than 50 years in the elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia before her retirement to Camilla Hall in 2004.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at Camilla Hall on Saturday, May 23. Msgr. Joseph Logrip was the main celebrant and homilist. Father William E. Dean was the concelebrant and Deacon Laurence Schnepp assisted.
Sister Mary is survived by members of her I.H.M. community and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Laura Clemson Schnepp; her brothers, Frank (Martha), Paul (Anne), William (Dorothy); her sister Marie (Dominic) Strollo and her cousin, Sister Margaret Faust, I.H.M.
