A multi-cultural celebration of Our Lady of Good Health Vailankanni will be held Saturday, Sept. 5 beginning at 5 p.m. at the Miraculous Medal Shrine, 500 East Chelten Avenue, Philadelphia.
The shrine celebrates the event in collaboration with the Indian Catholic community and St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Forane Church in Philadelphia.
The event honors the birth of Mary on Sept. 8.
Included in are the recitation of the Miraculous Medal Novena, solemn Mass, novena to Our Lady of Good Health, procession with the statue of Our Lady of Good Health, and two rosaries: one in English, the second in the Indian language.
