St. Katharine Drexel Regional Catholic School in Holland held a blessing and dedication of its new Pre-K Center on Nov. 6 in honor of Father William F. McGeown, late pastor of Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Feasterville. More than 400 students, faculty, staff, parishioners and members of Father McGeown’s family attended the Mass and dedication ceremony.
Msgr. John Marine, pastor of St. Bede; Father Matthew Tralies, parochial vicar at St. Bede; Msgr. Joseph McGeown, Father William McGeown’s brother, and Father Michael Davis, pastor of Assumption B.V.M. Parish, concelebrated the Mass and presided over the blessing and dedication of the Pre-K Center.
In 2012, Assumption B.V.M. Parish School and St. Bede the Venerable Parish School merged to form St. Katharine Drexel Regional Catholic School at the St. Bede campus.
