St. Maria Goretti Parish in Hatfield will host a Lenten Speaker Series which begins Thursday, Feb. 18 with the presentation, “From Exodus to Easter,” by Meg Szewczak, director of religious education at St. Maria Goretti.
The second presentation, “Lent Every Day: St. Francis de Sales’ Simple Plan for Conversion,” will be offered Thursday, Feb. 25, and the presenter will be Oblate Father Thomas Dailey, Blessed Louis Brisson Chair in Salesian Spirituality and director of the Salesian Center for Faith & Culture at DeSales University.
The last presentation, “The Journey to Sainthood of William Atkinson: First Quadriplegic to be Ordained a Roman Catholic Priest,” will be held Thursday, March 17, and the speaker will be Augustinian Father Michael DiGregorio, Prior Provincial of the Augustinian Friars, Province of St. Thomas of Villanova.
All sessions will be held in the church from 7 to 8:30 p.m. No registration is required.
