Today marks Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent and a time when Christians are called to begin an inner journey of conversion of heart through prayer, fasting and charitable works.

The schedule of Masses, with distribution of ashes, at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia is as follows: 12:05, 12:35 (in the chapel) and 5:15 p.m.; confessions are at 11:30 a.m. Find a local parish church near you, here.
