Our Lady of Port Richmond School, 3233 Thompson Street in Philadelphia, will host several events in coming weeks.
The annual March Madness Basketball Tournament for charity takes place Thursday, March 10. All entry fees and concession sale proceeds are donated to charity. The event starts at 3 p.m. with a teacher vs. eighth grade basketball game, followed by the varsity and junior varsity bracket games.
The annual book fair will be held Sunday to Monday, March 13-14, in the school’s gym and is open to the public.
The Family Auction Fundraiser is Friday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase starting at 5 p.m. and drawings for baskets will start at 7:30 p.m. sharp. A pack of 25 tickets may be purchased for $5 at the auction or in advance through an OLPR student. The auction is located in the lower hall and everyone is invited to enter through the Edgemont Street school yard.
