Scores of seniors enjoyed a Mother’s Day brunch May 6 at Norris Square Senior Center, a Catholic Social Services facility for low-income seniors of the Casa Carmen Aponte Senior Living Community and the surrounding North Philadelphia neighborhood.
Norris Square is a multi-service senior center funded by CSS and the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. It is managed by Presby’s Inspired Life, a local nonprofit serving the needs of seniors, which included the Norris Square event in its “Day of Service” that saw 500 volunteers serving throughout the Philadelphia region.
Volunteers from Presby’s Inspired Life, which manages the archdiocesan Norris Square Senior Center, are proud to help brighten seniors’ day at the brunch event May 6.
