Sacred Heart Parish in Royersford observed its patronal feast day on Friday, June 3, the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with morning Mass celebrated by the parish’s pastor, Father Peter DiMaria.
On evening Father David Waters led a holy hour in the church including a Scripture reading, homily, extended period of silent prayer and concluded with benediction.
Parishioners of Sacred Heart, located at Lewis Road and Walnut Street in Royersford, were invited to pray the following prayer:
“Sacred Heart of Jesus, today I wish to live in you, in your grace, in which I desire at all costs to persevere. Keep me from sin and strengthen my will by helping me to keep watch over my senses, my imagination and my heart. Amen.”

I attended Sacred Heart School from 1968 to 1976. Received all the sacraments there. A lot of good memories with the Sisters of St. Joseph. Small town, simple times, fun, peaceful. Bought a house in Pottstown and I now attend St Aloysius Parish. It’s GREAT I love it here. Will always remember Royersford and going to Mass at Sacred Heart!
