Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Doylestown invites all adults to join in a three-part parenting workshop to begin March 28 and continue April 11 and April 25 from 7-8 p.m. to be held at the OLMC gym.

Developmental psychologist and former Cornell University Medical College researcher Dr. Mariette Danilo will discuss how parents can help kids navigate a world where you are what you look like and what you can buy.

The discussion will cut through the hype and discuss the real sources of self-esteem, motivation, joy and optimism. The good news is that research has identified religion as a “protective factor” against negative outcomes.
