Mother of Mercy House will celebrate Mass on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. in McPherson Park, 601 East Indiana Avenue, in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.
We will pray in a special way for all those affected by addiction: those struggling with drug addiction, family members and friends affected by loved ones struggling with addiction or who have died due to it.
Malvern Institute is partnering with Mother of Mercy House on this event. Together we hope to support those caught in the grip of addiction and offer spiritual support and counseling for family and friends.
Those wishing to join us can meet us at the park at 4 p.m. or meet us at Mother of Mercy House, 709 East Allegheny Avenue in Philadelphia, at 3:30 p.m. and walk over together to the park.
We hope this will be the beginning of partnering to bring ongoing help and support for many.
