The Cardinal’s Forum, an annual gathering to provide academic formation of seminarians and continuing education for lay people, will be held Thursday, Aug. 30 at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary on the topic of “Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment.”

Held at the seminary’s Vianney Hall Auditorium, the panel discussion will feature viewpoints on the topic by Archbishop Charles Chaput, John Haas of the John Cardinal Krol Chair of Moral Theology and Oblate Father Thomas Dailey of the John Cardinal Foley Chair of Homiletics and Social Communications. Both chairs are of St. Charles Seminary.

The program begins at 7 p.m. and includes the panel talks, discussion among the presenters and with the audience until 8:30 p.m. The topic precedes the synod of bishops on the same topic, set for this October in Rome.

Father Robert Pesarchick, seminary vice president for academic affairs, is the moderator of the program.

St. Charles Seminary is located at 100 East Wynnewood Road, Wynnewood.
