The Over 50 Club of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Springfield, Delaware County is sponsoring a day trip Sept. 8 to the annual Polish American Family Festival and Country Fair held at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown.

The $45 per person fee ($35 for children and students to age 18) includes admission to the fair grounds featuring Polish Village craft vendors, exhibits, music and dancing, Polish and American food, unlimited entrance to all Midway rides (extreme rides are an additional cost) and a festival sweepstakes with the grand prize of a European river cruise – a $7,500 value.

The day begins with 11:30 a.m. Mass at the shrine plus visitation of its chapels, visitor center and gift shop.

The deluxe bus leaves at 10 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue in Springfield and returns at approximately 5 p.m. on Sept. 8.
